Pittsburgh local, Mikey Shanley, is a DJ who just advanced to the final round of the Miami New times DJ spinoff contest. He and five others beat out hundreds of entries and will go head to head on march 15, 2008 at Miami mega-club, Space. The winner will go on to play the infamous all day electronic music festival known as Ultra. Ultra takes place every year in Miami during the Winter music Conference week, and brings some of the hottest headlining DJ's and bands as well as the top up and coming DJ's to Miami.
