I'm a guitarist (46) looking for a bassist and a drummer to do some progressive rock-type improv along the lines of live Led Zeppelin.

Pittsburgh local, Mikey Shanley, is a DJ who just advanced to the final round of the Miami New times DJ spinoff contest. He and five others beat out hundreds of entries and will go head to head on march 15, 2008 at Miami mega-club, Space. The winner will go on to play the infamous all day electronic music festival known as Ultra. Ultra takes place every year in Miami during the Winter music Conference week, and brings some of the hottest headlining DJ's and bands as well as the top up and coming DJ's to Miami. I am a primarily country music singer in search of musicians to form a band and/or a guitarist to work on some original material with and play some local gigs on the weekends (some weeknights). I already have establishments that know my singing and who have offered to have me sing there. The problem is that I don't play so I need a partner in crime. I'd like the group to be within the ages of 20 and 30 and mirror groups such as Royal Crown Revue, Squirrel Nut Zippers, etc. Kind of a cool, ganster-like dirty swing sound mixed with an R&B new Soul sound.
